as a correction to that review, i didn't say 'dying crowd'... i actually listened to the audio of that show today. drunk guy yelled 'b. dolan!' and i yelled back 'guy in crowd!'

sorry the attendance colored your perception of the evening and dominated your review so much, to be honest. it seemed to effect you more than it effected the performers and some other members of the audience, who left feeling like they'd seen a good show. attendance fluctuates and is based on a lot of factors that are hard to control, but from my end all that matters was accomplished that night, and there were more than enough people present to make it feel like a worthwhile evening.

til next time bizarro prolyphic,

Saw B Dolan in Brighton last night. Superb show. Highly recommended! Difficult to choose highlights really but the 'Who Killed Russell Jones' poem was definitely one of them. Thanks for a great evening.

ah man, perhaps it didn't come cross overly well in my review, but I felt I witnessed an amazing show, not just a good one. I just felt that you deserved a little better in terms of attendance and reaction from some of those present. I thought it was a brilliant show from start to finish. I enjoyed Buddy's set and have picked up some new tunes as a result; and your set was typically excellent, challenging and fresh.
I guess when you live in a country where there's not a lot of this kind and quality of stuff about, when it comes along you want as many people as possible to be there. What was the name of the new song with the "which side are you on?" sample/vocal by the way - I really liked that.
Hope the rest of the tour's going well man. See you next time.

hah. he was one of the easier ones of the tour, somehow. this fucking monster vortex woman in birmingham took the cake for this run.

he at least managed to stay quiet during the spoken word parts, which is impressive for a drunken heckler.

it was a helluva run though. i'm gonna lock this and move the discussion of upcoming dates over to a pip thread, as his tour is next.
