Look, all I'm saying is that there's a marketplace of ideas at work here and I can't decide whether or not I'm buying what Captiv8 is selling because it hasn't been properly labeled.

Haven't you ever gotten into an argument at the cash register?

I give out ideas for free because then they're worth more.

What do you do when you're at the company cafeteria and the label on the fridge door says '$2.10 tax incl.' for a bottle of Vitamin Water but it gets rung up at the cash register for $2.30? If you don't speak up any say something the cashier is going to lose endless time watching people go back into their pockets for the extra twenty cents. Speaking up early is the best solution for everyone!

Rip that fucking place apart, shoot a gun in the air & breast feed a bald eagle in protest.

I like the hook on Job Well Done. And Mike's Tyson lines. I think I like the singles the best :\

Really tho, 36'' Chain and Get It have really grown on me.

The Fuck Hope song is becoming less zone out time for me. That's good.

And and, I think El's opening verse on Get It is easily the best on the album. One of his best straight up verse period. I love when he nails that esoteric direct balance (ETA: Succinctly, in a verse format).

Also see his verse on that Huzzah remix posse cut one.

F'real tho, who is there besides KRIT, Kendrick, and Gibbs? Hiphop is like the Lions. Handful of studs and the rest duds. It's a talent issue.

I think Captiv8 is reviewing albums as a product, where value for money is factored in. I'd prefer reviews or ranking system to not factor that because its not commenting purely on the quality of the album. If your rating it as a product surely that rating will fluctuate as the price fluctuates. Just seems unnecessary or like 'value for money' would be a seperate rating if it needs to be included at all.

What about a CD version of an album versus a Vinyl? Is the same album going to be scored differently because they're different products with different price points?

Upon repeated listens it's clear to me that El-P brings it so much harder than Killer Mike. Which is to say, I'm not sure how well they feed off each other like a proper duo. In comparison, Aesop Rock and Rob Sonic have the feeling a properly fit collaboration in Hail Mary Mallon. Slug and Murs as Felt manage that quite well too.

Its one of my favorite albums I'v heard in awhile. I'v never been a big Killer Mike fan (from collabing with outkast to his solo stuff), but I think this is his best work. However, El-P is one of those rappers that is just the best on every track he is on. He kills it, love it
