The live auction starts each manager off with a specified amount. I forget exactly how much it is that we started off with. Nonetheless, you bid for the players with that amount. And then when you are out of money you have to deal with whatever is left over to fill the gaps after the draft. Pretty simple. If I were you I would just go hard and try to pick up all the guys right away. I mean, you aren't paying real dollars so you can just bid really high. I wouldn't give you this advice if you had already done this style of draft before. Just go big right away. Make it rain. You want AP!!

Also, I second his advice. AP is worth at least half your money.

So pleased with the results of my draft. Turns out AP was worth only $81. Sooo worth it.

Autodrafted into timeless mediocrity. A result befitting Rex Ryan's Skin Flap.

I don't know, man. Andrew Luck may be somewhat of a stretch, but you've got Dez Bryant and Demaryius Thomas, as well as Jamaal Charles and Chris Johnson. These are all high-caliber players. The only (and potentially devastating) hitch is their perfomance values. You know Charles is going to get a lot of work, but Johnson may bust. Can't be sure. I think you flex in David Wilson is great, as it looks like he's poised to have a huge year. Your bench isn't that deep, but you might make some moves on waivers. All in all, for auto-drafting you've acquired a solid team.

They're solid but damn some of the other teams look so much better. I'm sure moves will be made through the season.

I just released Aaron Hernandez, fyi. FrankP says he he gets cigarettes instead of points, could be valuable if you know smokers. Ic tricked me into bidding on a bum kicker, but that was resolved as well. Get at it, Redball!! I face you in Week 1 and I want you to have a fighting chance!!!!!!

I drafted Gronk at a somewhat premium on the notion that he'd be good by week 5-ish. Seems like he'll be ready before then, even.

Goddamn. I sat Julio Jones on account of his questionable status and he's already doing better than last week. Thank God RG3 is sucking it up for Washington, right Icarus? But I've got Alfred Morris in my money league, and he's even worse. Going to be a tight week, methinks.

Well, pending a terrible performance from San Fran tonight, you've crushed me Icarus. Would have been a lot closer with Julio Jones in, but I still think you would have won by 10-15. Great performance by Calvin Johnson this week. A decent but non-scoring performance from AP for me. Damn.

Frankthe P and whoever Kyle Orton is: get back at me regarding my trade offer. It's a sweet deal and you both know it. Act now or regret it later.

It's on, Redball. I checked with Vegas today and they have the Frankthep's as a 2 point favorite. My squad looked good at practice today and we are set to shock the world.
