I'm proud of raising my son into a little gentleman.
I credit his mother for a lot, she is a really good mother, but I credit myself for being his Mufasa.
There's a line between freedom and decipline that you have to walk as a parent and I think I've done a good job balancing them.

On a personal note:
I'm proud of not holding grudges.
I'm proud that I can say I'm wrong or I'm sorry and mean it.
I'm proud that I can express my love to those who I care about.
I'm proud of my patience.
I'm proud of my individuality.
I'm proud of spending the time to understand who I am and why I am who I am.
I'm proud of my potential, and I'm now proud that I am actually utilizing it.

I'm proud that I've managed to NOT have any kids, because I'm not ready to raise them right yet. Maybe relieved or thankful is a better word there.

This is actually stumping me quite a lot. I'm not proud of a lot of things about myself. Not because I disdain pride, and not because of low self-esteem. I'm just not. That probably means I should be utilizing myself better than I am now. I definitely should, in fact. If I was to make a list it would be probably be kind of like Lusid's.

A big word up to those two.
I'm proud that I try to listen to the people around me and try to understand and communicate with them on a level beyond the everyday surface.
I'm proud that I'm in the best shape of my life! That's for sure. I've weighed over 300 pounds and I'm a cool 185 these days. Ok, so I'm still a mite paunchy amidships. My theory is girls like it, and I like beer.
I'm proud that I told both my father and mother I love them today, and meant it. That may never have happened before.
I'm proud that I'm one of the most intensely loyal friends I know, no vanity. In fact I cling to that.
I'm proud I managed to buckle down and get my ass off probation this year.
I'm not sure if I'm proud that I am a good worker or not. Sometimes I think it just makes me all the more suitable drone.
I'm proud I'm three years off the co-caine in two weeks, I forgot about that one 'til just now. That's a warm fuzzy.

I am proud that i spun some records this weekend after not touching my mixer for perhaps a year, while still buying a lot of records. It felt good, but man you get rusty.

As a by product, i also introduced my friend to Sage while spinning. I have been bugging him to listen to him for some time. I tossed on the Makeshift Patriot ep and by the time i was messing with a beat under Hey Bobby, he was just was beside himself.

Hook. Line. Sinker. New Fan.

That I am not near as naive as I used to be. That wolves can be disquised as sheep. That some people lie for their own benefit with total disregard for other people.
That's a big thing for me to have learned ..so I am proud of me.

I'm really proud to have bought a house and be financially-stable at 22 (just turned 23 in February, but I bought my house in November). I'm proud that I did research into programs and discovered that I can get a 1% interest loan for home repairs through Denver Urban Renewal. The work is starting next week and I'm getting everything from a new master bathroom to new windows to getting my electrical shit up to code. Really happy about that -- should add about $50K onto the value of my house and make it a lot nicer to live in.

i've started this multi media bombzo portrait, and so far i'm happy with it.
i'm trying to incorporate a few subtle things from the rest the album, and i'm proud to say i think it will work out.
so far i've used:
undiluted water color
ink
rotten ink
pencil
dirt, grime, and theres some bugs crawling on it too, so when they walk by, i work them into it.
(i'm working outside) ain't no bugs in mah house.
and i'm thinking some acylics and oils might need to be added, but i'm not sure yet.

Rotten ink? I'm intrigued. What's it come out like? What's it good for? And furthermore, how do you get rotten ink?

ok, it was red ink, i got it for a class i dropped almost two years ago, so it's been sitting around since.
it rotted, and now it's a yellowy piss brown color, and looks dirty and grimy as hell. perfect for some of the stains on the bombzo apron.
*spell-check* *post*

oh, and i don't recommend trying the rotten ink...
i just checked it.. it's dry, and has actually eaten through the black ink that was under it.
i like the way it looks.. but holy shit!
i can't wait to post pictures of this!

shit... haha... this is the first i've seen of this...

i can't wait until you post it either!
